How to Install Windows 95 & 3.1 on PS3 Dosbox

Dosbox is a DOS Emulator ported to the PS3 by Robo Hobo and can be used to launch old MS-DOS based games and programs.

THINGS YOU NEED

1. A PS3
2. OpenPS3FTP Server V2.1
3. Dosbox 0.74 R1
4. Windows 95 IMG

extract win95.rar onto desktop

open filezilla and connect to PS3 with Openftpserver

transfer the win95 folder to dev_hdd0/game/HBDB90000/USRDIR and it NEED TO BE like this:

now go to ps3 and open Dosbox

now write

mount c ~/win95

then

c:

then

imgmount a w95.img

then

boot w95.img

Tutorial for Windows 3.1

Requirements:
A PS3
A Keyboard
A Pc
Windows 3.1 Image

extract win31.rar onto desktop

open filezilla and connect to PS3 with Openftpserver

transfer the win31 folder to dev_hdd0/game/HBDB90000/USRDIR and it NEED TO BE like this:

now go to your ps3 and open DOSBOX

then write

mount c ~/

then

C:

then

cd WIN31

then

setup

the setup will start,press enter all the time

now it will copy your files

and then the setup will start

write your name,confirm it,and then wait for THE FINAL SETUP

it will make you install printer,but you can't use it

now the installation finished

click to return to ms-DOS

then reboot ps3

now go to your ps3 and open DOSBOX AGAIN

then write

mount c ~/

then

C:

then

cd WIN31

then

cd WINDOWS

then

win

and enjoy windows 3.1!
