Apple Facebook.App Getting an Update Soon

Facebook.app is getting some much needed updates and a fresh look very soon. The iPhone app's developer (Joe Hewitt) tweeted he had uploaded the 3.0 version of Facebook.app to the AppStore for approval Sunday, and is even more excited for 3.1, which he's working on now.

It's got a ton of improvements (hence the solid jump in versioning to a full 3.0), one nice feature being video upload from the 3GS (expect Facebook video uploads to triple pretty soon).

The home screen is completely redone, and hopefully its a bit more stable - although I use Facebook.app often, its got some weird quirks I can't figure out.
