We had our speculations about the launch line-up of the 3DS, but now thanks to the Nintendo World Event we can confirm around 8 titles that will definitely be released around the same time as the 3DS. We can also confirm the increase in the price for some titles. Don’t be too put off by the prices, the games themselves seem like great additions to the line-up and these games are only the first of many games to hit the glasses-free device.
Here’s the list -
• Winning Eleven (Pro Evolution) 3DSoccer (5,800 yen/$70)
• Super Street Fighter IV 3D Edition (4,800 yen/$58)
• Samurai Warriors Chronicle (6,090 yen/$73)
• Tobidasu! Puzzle Bobble 3D (4,980 yen/$60)
• Nintendogs + Cats (Toy Poodle & New Friends, French Bulldog & New Friends, Shiba & New Friends, 4,800 yen each)
• Ridge Racer 3D (6,090 yen/$73)
• Combat of Giants: Dinosaurs 3D (5,040 yen/$61)
• Professor Layton and the Mask of Miracle (5,980 yen/$72)
Aside from the Spring release of Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3DS, Nintendo have announced more titles into the 3DS line-up throughout the year, these include BlazBlue Continuum Shift 2, ports of Tales of the Abyss, Raving Rabbids Travel in Time and a third game in the DS's Tank Beat series. Now, that doesn’t sound too bad at all right?!
The 3DS line-up is looking great. I honestly can’t wait for key titles like Paper Mario and Metal Gear Solid(which were both announced last year) to get an official release date.
